Everyone's computer has files that are not intended for all eyes. Particularly on PCs with multiple users, you should take precautions to make sure your files are kept private by protecting folders with a password.
Unfortunately Windows 7, 8 and 10 don’t have a built-in way to do this, but there are free programmes you can get to do the job. For example, WinRaR or 7zip allows users to compress folders into .zip or .rar files.
