Without confirming any specific numbers, Nintendo of Europe has announced that weekend sales of its new Switch console have resulted in a record launch for the video gaming company.
"Across Europe, Nintendo Switch sold more in its launch weekend than any other Nintendo hardware in history," Nintendo of Europe announced on March 7, following the March 3, 2017 launch of its portable home console hybrid, the Switch.
