Keeping it simple: The site is for non-tech experts that need help on how to fix a bug.

A new technology information website has launched by the media company behind About.com.

Called Lifewire, the site went live Tuesday and is pitched as a technology site that provides clear, trustworthy tech advice without the jargon.

In other words, it's for consumers who may not be tech experts and need help on how to fix a bug.

"Lifewire simplifies seemingly complex technology issues and decisions, and offers easy-to-understand solutions," reads a synopsis.

Currently the site features 16,000 articles.

Lifewire.com is the latest media property launched from the IAC media group, after About.com, health and wellness site Verywell and personal finance site The Balance.  —  AFP Relaxnews
