The BBC is rumoured to be launching a new subscription TV streaming service to rival Netflix and Amazon.
The UK government has given the go-ahead for the new service, which would be broadcast via the corporation's iPlayer and has been provisionally titled ‘Britflix', The Telegraph reports. Rival TV channel ITV is also understood to be involved in the project.
