The visual style of Walt Disney's animated films acts as backdrop to the Kingdom Hearts franchise, with latest videogame adventure Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ[chi] set for English-language release on April 7.

The game's main areas are inspired by a handful of famous Disney movies including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin, Hercules and Beauty and the Beast

It's the eighth in Square Enix's treasured Kingdom Hearts series, but Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ[chi] is the first to be released as a free-to-play game for Android and iOS.

Debuting as a Japanese browser game in 2013, a Japanese smartphone release followed in September 2015; from April 7, 2016, a North American release on Android and iOS allows for a reacquaintance – or first-time introduction – to the Kingdom Hearts series before the arrival of next core entry, Kingdom Hearts III, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. — AFP Relaxnews
