Still a lot of Beliebers: Bieber's newest track 'What Do You Mean?' has been streamed more than 21 million times globally since its release on Aug 28, Spotify said.

NEW YORK: Justin Bieber broke the record for biggest first week on streaming service Spotify, proving the pop star’s enduring popularity despite his slew of controversies. 

The 21-year-old Canadian singer’s What Do You Mean?, a song about indecision set over a mellow dance-club beat, has been streamed more than 21 million times globally since its release on Aug 28, Spotify said.
