Are you ready?: Grab your Google Cardboard, as tomorrow's OnePlus Two launch will happen in VR.
The OnePlus Two will be launching tomorrow via VR (virtual reality), the first for a product, the company says.
The event will kick off globally at 7pm (Pacific Time) on July 27, which makes it 10am tomorrow for us.
To follow the launch, you will need a Google Cardboard which will allow you to view the event in VR, and the OnePlus Two Launch app from the Google Play store.
The little we know about the Android smartphone comes from what OnePlus has teased us on its forum and social media for the last few months.
The OnePlus Two is expected to feature an updated variant of the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (v2.1), 4GB RAM, USB Type-C port and faster fingerprint sensor (speedier than even the iPhone's, the company claims).
The Cyanogen user interface will be replaced by OxygenOS, which OnePlus claims will include features that other devices won't see until the release of Google's next-gen Android M.
Just like for its first smartphone, an invite system will be used to sell the OnePlus Two as units are limited.
Initially, the OnePlus One could only be bought if the user secured an invite from the company's forum or friend who had already purchased the device.
In April, Malaysia became the first market in which the OnePlus One was made available for purchase without an invite when the company partnered with Maxis Bhd.
