PANASONIC and SP Setia are making huge strides in their sustainability initiatives by marrying Panasonic’s sustainable air management system with SP Setia’s sustainable township - the Barola Homes series in their Mustika Home collection.
The Barola Homes master bedrooms will be fully outfitted with Panasonic’s Complete Air Management System, which is a unique hybrid-link technology that automatically controls temperature, humidity and indoor air quality.
“As one of the leading air quality solution providers, we are thrilled with this collaboration to sustain our planet with quality air through energy efficiency.
“Through the intelligent algorithm sensors and cloud-based technologies, residents will be able to ensure the quality of their lifestyle with better airspace through the Complete Air Management System and feel more productive in the comfort of their own homes,” said Panasonic Corporation QAFL business promotion office managing director Ichiro Suganuma.

Panasonic’s Complete Air Management System is touted to deliver a holistic living experience for homeowners by maintaining indoor air quality through the unique hybrid link operation that integrates the air conditioner, a supply air fan and an indoor air quality (IAQ) remote controller to deliver clean indoor air.
Meanwhile, fresh air is filtered through the supply air fan, air is purified with nanoe X within the air conditioner, the built-in IAQ sensors constantly monitors air quality indoors and sends feedback through the cloud for a hands-free approach and should they need to control the system while away it can be remotely managed via the Panasonic Comfort Cloud application.
Here is a sneak peak of how the different parts of Complete Air Management System can help homeowners get quality indoor air:
> Air-conditioner: It is equipped with iAuto-X and humidity sensor ensuring optimal safety and comfort is always within reach. For instance, the humidity sensor monitors and adjusts levels to below 60% for an optimal sleeping environment so that you can enjoy good sleep throughout the night.
Besides that, Panasonic's unique nanoe X technology is able to inhibit pollutants such as bacteria and viruses, moulds, allergens and pollen, as well as other hazardous substances, while simultaneously deodorising and moisturising hair and skin. nanoe X is effective on both air and surface pollutants.
> Supply air fan: With the ventilation system, it exhausts contaminated indoor air and filters contaminants out of outdoor air before bringing it indoors.
It also takes into account the air coming in from the outdoors, with the PM 2.5 filter that removes finer dust particles and ensures that only fresh, clean air can enter the room.
> IAQ Remote Controller: It monitors and sends data to the cloud via the Panasonic Comfort Cloud application and adjusts the air volume in the supply air fan depending on the indoor air quality and surroundings through four built-in sensors.
Therefore, homeowners will enjoy fuss-free quality indoor air as it continuously monitors indoor temperature, humidity levels, PM2.5 and carbon dioxide concentration.
> Panasonic Comfort Cloud app: It combines the operations of all three equipment into a single automated operation and visualises the indoor air quality. What’s more, homeowners can control their indoor air quality remotely from anywhere and at any time.
Barola Homes are double-storey terrace houses with built-up areas ranging from 2,301sqft to 2,520sqft with four bedrooms and four bathrooms located in the award-winning township of Setia Alam and are set to be completed by December 2024.
