LEADING television brand Skyworth, which recently launched its latest SUE7600 Google TV under the Eye Care Series and has pledged to donate 1% of the profit for every unit sold from now till April 2023 to Lions Eye Clinic Malaysia.

Skyworth inked a memorandum of understanding with Lions Club KL Agape Star on Oct 13 to provide proper eye check and affordable spectacles

“In conjunction with World Sight Day and its theme of ‘Love Your Eyes’, we are pleased to announce our collaboration with Lions Club, which has a very rich history of serving the community for more than 100 years.

“1% from the profit for every new Google TV SUE7600 series units sold, from this month onwards until April next year, will be channelled to Lions Eye Clinic Malaysia to provide affordable and quality eye care for the patients who cannot afford the high cost of operation.

“We will be working together with Lions Club KL Agape Star to provide proper eye checks and affordable spectacles to our future young generations,” said Skyworth Malaysia managing director Cocu Li.

The eye care series comes with the flicker free and low blue light filtering technology to prevent eye damage when watching your favourite TV shows for a long duration.

These technologies are also certified, verified and inspected by TÜV Rheinland for all electrical products safety features, making it suitable for younger and older viewers alike.

The Skyworth SUE7600 Google TV series also comes with boundless screen, 4K Ultra HD resolution and is equipped with Skyworth's proprietary Chameleon Extreme 2.0 picture technology for optimised picture quality, so that consumers can enjoy the best viewing experience.

What’s more, Dolby Audio & DTS Studio Sound technology ups the ante on surround sound, which makes the experience more realistic for movies or music.

The two-way Bluetooth communication connects your Bluetooth-enabled devices including keyboard and mouse, headsets, controllers and smartphones to the TV or a soundbar and connects to five devices at the same time to boost your entertainment experience.

Meanwhile, the far field voice control enables you to use voice control by just saying ‘Hey Google’ to get it started without the need of a remote control – an easier way to search for your favourite shows.

Take your pick from the Skyworth Eye Care series, which comes in a whopping five sizes, namely 43 inches, 50 inches, 55 inches, 65 inches, 70 inches and even 75 inches. Ranging from RM1,899 to RM5,199, the Skyworth TVs are available at 150 independent home appliances stores and 200 chain stores nationwide, including Senheng, Onking, HLK and TBC among others.
