REFRIGERATORS are long-term investments and will probably be a part of your home for the next 10 to 20 years. So, when it comes to purchasing a new one, there are many different aspects to contemplate, mainly pertaining storage space, energy efficiency and price.
One thing that is rarely considered, however, is how the common kitchen appliance would look like in your home and what colours would match the overall aesthetic or design of your kitchen.

The 401-litre BESPOKE Top Mount Freezer with Digital Inverter Technology, in particular, is one of the best on the market, thanks to its impressive energy-efficient features and will now be available in two different limited edition colours – pink and navy blue.
It’s not just the fancy new colours that make this model a good choice for your home either as, unlike older fridge models that make lots of noise, the 401-litre BESPOKE Top Mount Freezer utilises Samsung’s digital inverter technology that can substantially reduce excess noise pollution.
With this technology – which is the main tech used in Samsung’s signature fridges – your fridge will not only be quieter, but also more efficient as the digital inverter compressor is able to silently control the temperature inside the fridge effectively, while using 46.9% less energy than a single-speed compressor.
That’s because, unlike a single-speed compressor, a digital inverter can gradually speed up and slow down to deliver as much cold air as needed, so it does not have to work hard to manage the temperature in the fridge. This also means that the model is more durable than most fridges and suffers less wear and tear on its components.
The navy blue and pink models also come with a 21-year lifespan and a 20-year warranty, which is the longest warranty period offered by Samsung for key appliance components such as its digital inverter motors and compressors for BESPOKE products.

This model is also fitted with Samsung’s All-around Cooling system, which is said to keep food fresher for longer as it maintains a constant temperature by evenly distributing cool air from corner to corner via multiple strategically placed air vents on every shelf.
The system even continually monitors any temperature fluctuations that may occur. For example, if you were to open the fridge door, the system would register the change and quickly restore the temperature to optimally store your food items.
Storing milk, juices and tall bottles will no longer be an issue either with this model as it comes with Big Guard, which is great for chilling tall drink bottles. Big Guard – which is basically a taller and deeper door shelf – will free up a lot of storage space, making more room for other items to be stored in the fridge.
