ANCUBIC Group signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Samsung Malaysia, Fiamma Trading and Ebac Home to deliver quality products to buyers of its latest development Cubic Botanical serviced apartments in South Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
Ancubic Group Executive Director Datin Kimilee You (Kimilee) said the MoU shows the developer's commitment to delivering quality products that will fill all 1,161 units at no additional cost on the sale price.
“We have reached a 95% take-up rate and have topped the roof with ongoing (final touches) of the development. We will be handing over the keys in the second quarter of next year.
"We absorb the cost despite the increased cost of logistics and (fluctuation) of currency,”she shared at the signing ceremony, which was held at the Cubic Botanical sales gallery in Bangsar South on Oct 13.
The partnership will include Samsung Malaysia supplying television sets and washer dryers, Ebac Home supplying all the built-in furniture of wardrobes and kitchen cabinets as well as Fiamma Trading supplying water heaters, hoods and hobs.
She noted that Samsung Malaysia will be delivering enhanced quality of the appliances with display panels, adding that Ancubic Group is excited to support and work with local brands such as Ebac.
The MoU was signed by Kimilee on behalf of Ancubic Group along with representatives from home and living brands Samsung Malaysia consumer electronics business head Jimmy Tan, Ebac Home managing director Angela Chong Sze Chun and Fiamma Trading project manager Christine Goh.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Samsung Malaysia digital appliances business director Josh Kim, Ancubic Group chairman Datuk Low Boon An, Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) and National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia president Tan Sri Datuk Soh Thian Lai as well as SME Association of Malaysia president Ding Hong Sing.
Cubic Botanical is a freehold project that will house 1,161 serviced apartment units and 10 shoplots within its two 40-storey blocks.
The development was inspired by the green surroundings of its location – primarily Bukit Gasing and Taman Rimba – surrounded by 80.93ha (200 acres) of forest reserves, which heavily influenced its green living concept, ‘The Figure of Cityscape Green Living’.
Future homeowners can choose layouts that suit their lifestyle, as well as the house electronics, home and living fittings.
Kimilee shared that Ancubic Group is confident buyers will be satisfied with their homes being equipped with quality furniture and fitting.
Industrial Developments
At the event, Ancubic Group also unveiled a new project development dubbed the A-Park (A) Series and logo – an industrial concept development in Bangi, Selangor and East of Batu Kawan in Penang set to launch in Q2 of 2023.
“What is unique about A-Park is that it is an A-level international industrial park focusing on rationality and efficiency, where it integrates green designs for every facility including road infrastructure, buildings and public spaces.
“It can help businesses save on energy and natural resources, reducing their overall carbon footprint and eliminating negative environmental impacts,” said Kimilee.
She added that the series will feature A-level strategic location, security system, sustainable architecture, green designs, property management, landscaping maintenance, waste management, common facilities, international trade connection, as well as infrastructure, operations and maintenance.
The A-level series will have access to strategic locations, she said, with Bangi Industrial Park strategically positioned within close proximity to Kuala Lumpur, Kajang, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and KLIA, while East of Batu Kawan Industrial Park is strategically positioned within close proximity to Penang Island via the Penang Second Bridge and toll-free access road from Jalan Sungai Bakap to Seberang Perai.
“A-Park will provide a benchmark investment opportunity to own a strategic property, as Batu Kawan will be the next booming industrial zone.
“The global operating environment is reshaping across sectors and geographies towards market economies.
“We will provide various solutions to meet this uptrend,” she said.
