First-ever July intake for Sunway College’s AUSMAT programme


FOR the first time ever, Sunway College’s Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) programme will be offering a July intake, providing an ideal platform for SPM students to pursue a Western Australian pre-university programme following the release of SPM results.

This newly created opportunity has been provided to Sunway College by the Government of Western Australia. Despite the pandemic, Sunway College has retained its global position as the largest overseas provider of the Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) programme.

Not only it is the largest overseas provider in the world, but the programme has also received over 120 world awards to date.

In 2019 AUSMAT Sunway College won the gold award for best smart school at EduTECH Asia in Singapore, and last year, 21 AUSMAT lecturers were named Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts for 2020-2021.

Upon successful completion of the AUSMAT programme, students will be awarded the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) – a qualification by the Australian government with worldwide recognition.

In addition to universities in Malaysia, the WACE provides students a pathway to renowned universities in Australia, as well as institutions of higher learning around the world such as in the US, the UK, Canada, Singapore, New Zealand and more.
