PETALING JAYA: Fresh from winning eight gold medals at the recent Malaysia Games (Sukma), teenage swimmer Shannon Tan (pic) continued her hot momentum by breaking her national short-course 200m butterfly record in Singapore.
Shannon, swimming for Selangor, sliced more than three seconds off her national record after winning the event in 2:10.57s at the Singapore National Swimming Short Course Invitational at the OCBC Aquatics Centre.
