Malaysia miss final after swimmers fall short in the pool

MALAYSIA made no splash on the penultimate day of the swimming competition at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games as the men’s 4x100m freestyle team fell short of making the final in Japan yesterday.

The quartet of Khiew Hoe Yean, Arvin Shaun Singh, Ananda Lim Yin Chuen, and Goh Li Jie finished fifth in Heat 1 with a time of 3:22.67s at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre.
