The 24-year-old Sivasangari’s decision to miss the Deepavali celebration with her family to compete in three consecutive tournaments – Singapore Open, Hong Kong Football Club Open, Hong Kong Open – has proven to be worthwhile as she successfully achieved her goal of breaking into the top 20 in the latest world rankings.
