Chance for Yiwen to bag first PSA title in Medeira

PETALING JAYA: Chan Yiwen missed out on her first Professional Squash Association (PSA) challenger tour title this year after finishing runner-up in August’s North Coast Open in Australia but she now has a golden opportunity to end her wait in the Medeira Island International in Funchal, Portugal which begins today.

Yiwen, 23, is the top seed and the Malaysian’s only challenge should come from second seed Rana Ismail of Egypt in a possible final clash this Sunday.
