No squashing this gold – Rachel and Yiwen in all-Malaysian final

TOP seed Rachel Arnold and Chan Yiwen (pic) have assured a gold by making it an all-Malaysian affair in the women’s squash final but there was disappointment in the men’s competition.

Yesterday, Rachel showed no mercy as she trounced Singapore’s Yhann Au Yeong Wai 11-6,11-3,11-8 while Yiwen was also in her element as she defeated the Philippines’ Jemyca Aribabo 11-6,11-7,13-11 in the other semi-final at the Manila Polo Club yesterday.
