PETALING JAYA: World No. 2 Nicol David powered into the British Open semi-finals after a commanding win over Egypt's Omneya Abdel Kawy.

Nicol, who is hunting her sixth British Open crown, was too strong for Omneya as she pulled off the 11-4, 12-14, 12-10, 11-2 quarter-final win at the Airco Arena, Hull on Friday.
