PETALING JAYA: Two Egyptian opponents on home turf, two spectacular comebacks, and world No.1 Nicol David is once again crowned world champion.

The Malaysian squash queen, seeking her record eighth world title at the Women’s World Championship in Cairo, Egypt, demonstrated supreme mental strength and true grit as she twice saved four match balls to beat home favourite Raneem El Welily 5-11, 11-8, 7-11, 14-12, 11-5 in the final on Saturday.
