Sivasangari bows out of Tournament of Champions in q-finals


PETALING JAYA: National women's squash player S. Sivasangari’s run at the Tournament of Champions came to an end in the quarter-finals on Tuesday (Jan 27).

The world No. 6 fell to world No. 4 American Olivia Weaver, who won 11-5, 11-8, 5-11, 11-8 in 52 minutes at the Grand Central Terminal in New York City.

It was Weaver’s ninth win over Sivasangari in 10 meetings.
