KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s Low Wee Wern advanced to the second round of the U.S. Open squash championships for the first time in her career with a decisive win over qualifier Sarah Cardwell of Australia in Philadelphia on Saturday.
Last year, Wee Wern was dismissed in the first round by the second-seed, Raneem El Weleily of Egypt.
