Teen Gurshan beats ex-national Kam Hing

KUALA LUMPUR: The last-minute withdrawal of Mohd Azlan Iskandar may have taken the lustre off the TC National Championships but 18-year-old Gurshan Singh made sure he stole the limelight with a stunning performance against the more experienced Choong Kam Hing in the first round at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil Thursday.

The Ipoh-lad dug deep into his reserves to come back from 2-1 down for a 5-11, 11-6, 2-11, 11-9, 11-8 win over ex-national player Kam Hing.
