PETALING JAYA: Wushu exponent Tammy Tan Hui Ling has shown how important self-belief is in sports with her historic gold medal for Malaysia at the World University Games (Universiade) in Chengdu.

And Wushu Federation of Malaysia (WFM) president Datuk Chong Kim Fatt is hoping for the same effect to rub off on the shoulders of five exponents gearing up for the Asian Games from Sept 23-Oct 8 in Hangzhou, China.
