Premier home golf tourney is back and set to offer tickets for British Open

In with a chance: Gavin Green and Ervin Chang’s (pic, below) hopes of playing in the British Open will be better if the Malaysian Open is classified as a qualifying tournament.

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Open returns after four years with an attractive perk where top local players like Gavin Green and Ben Leong will get the opportunity to qualify for the prestigious British Open next year.

Making a comeback since it was last held at the Kota Permai Golf and Country Club in 2020, next year’s Malaysian Open will be held at the Mines Resort and Golf Club in Seri Kembangan from Feb 15-18.
