Diving cut from Commonwealth Games, blow for Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Diving has been dropped from the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow from July 23-Aug 2, a decision that is set to hurt Malaysia’s medal prospects.

The sport is the latest casualty, joining badminton, hockey, squash and rhythmic gymnastics – events in which Malaysia traditionally harbour strong medal hopes.
