KUALA LUMPUR: Nurqayyum Nazmi Mohd Nazim made a good early impression on his world junior championships aspiration after winning the boy’s 1m springboard event in the national diving trials at National Aquatic Centre in Bukit Jalil yesterday.
The 18-year-old scored 291.20 points to come out on top in the six-dive competition.
