NILAI: Azizulhasni Awang shed tears as he went straight to hug his long-time coach John Beasley even before getting off the bicycle.

The unrestrained joy was understandable after the 35-year-old sealed his legacy as the continent’s most successful sprint cyclist en route to winning the keirin gold to complete a rare double in the Asian Championships at the National Velodrome here yesterday.
