A challenge to ride for medals on flat route in SEA Games

NILAI: A flat terrain chosen as the cycling route for road races during the Cambodia SEA Games in May will not offer an easy passage for national riders to win gold medals.

National women cyclist Nur Aisyah Mohamad Zubir (pic) said there won’t be advantages or disadvantages to riders participating in the road race because every contender from all the countries will have an equal chance due to the flat terrain, except for a team who have good sprinting abilities.
