Newcomer Danial stamping his mark with Open gold


PETALING JAYA: Mohd Danial Abu Samah (pic) joined the national youth team just two months ago, but he is already making his presence felt.

In the boys’ Open of the Malaysian Open, Danial took the gold with 1,735 pins in eight matches but had to fend off close competition from Ridhar Rahman Riza Abdillah, who finished second with 1,701 at the Sunway Megalanes yesterday.
