Jimmy-Su Yin's Japan Open run ends in semis


PETALING JAYA: Mixed doubles pair Jimmy Wong-Cheng Su Yin saw their impressive Japan Open run come to an end after they lost to Hong Kong's Tang Chun Man-Tse Ying Suet in the semi-finals on Saturday (July 18).

Playing at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Jimmy-Su Yin made a bright start but were unable to maintain their momentum in the second game.

They eventually went down 21-17, 18-21, 16-21 in 67 minutes.
