PETALING JAYA: Independent shuttler Jacky Kok may have left the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) in June, but he is still very much on the national radar.

National men’s singles head coach Kenneth Jonassen revealed that he has continued to monitor the progress of the 23-year-old left-hander and was particularly pleased with Jacky’s strong start at the Japan Masters in Kumamoto yesterday.
