Sze Fei-Izzuddin reach China Masters quarters

PETALING JAYA: Men's doubles shuttlers Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani booked their spot in the China Masters quarter-finals after beating Taiwan's Lee Jhe-huei-Yang Po-hsuan.

Sze Fei-Izzuddin stayed steady to come away with a 21-16, 22-20 win at the Shenzhen Arena on Thursday (Sept 18).

It was sweet revenge for the independent pair after losing to the Taiwanese duo in the World Championships third round in Paris.

Sze Fei-Izzuddin will next face either China's Hong Kong Open champions Liang Weikeng-Wang Chang or Indonesia's China Open winners Fajar Alfian-Shohibul Fikri.
