Bin Shen set to join Choong Hann in Hong Kong

PETALING JAYA: It's learnt that Tan Bin Shen will be moving to Hong Kong after leaving the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM).

On Friday, Bin Shen confirmed that he was leaving the national body after serving for five years in different capacities. In the last two years, he has been heading the senior doubles team that saw good success from Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik and other players.

The BA of Malaysia wanted to extend his contract which is set to end this month, but it's learnt that he had received a better offer from abroad.

A source said that it was a better offer from Hong Kong.

It remains to be seen whether Bin Shen will join Choong Hann, who is now the head coach in Hong Kong.
