Jing Yi’s doubles past will serve her well after switch


KUALA LUMPUR: Former women’s singles Olympian Tee Jing Yi (pic) has decided to draw inspiration from the past as she begins her journey in the doubles event.

Ten years ago, the then 16-year-old Jing Yi stole the show at the Asian Junior Championships when she emerged as runners-up with Lyddia Cheah in the girls’ doubles event.
