An easy day for Joo Ven in Perak Open

Joo Ven needed just 15 minutes to defeat Yusriami Yusuf 21-9, 21-5 in the second round of the Perak Open.

PETALING JAYA: Shuttler Soong Joo Ven got off to a good start at the Perak Open as he goes in search of a productive second half of the season.

Competing in only his fifth competition of the year, the 20-year-old Joo Ven swept aside Yusriazmi Yusuf 21-9, 21-5 in 15 minutes in the men’s singles second round at the Indera Mulia Stadium in Ipoh.
