Mentor disappointed with Chong Wei’s doping result

GEORGE TOWN: Teh Peng Huat, the man responsible for unearthing world number one Lee Chong Wei’s talents as a boy, was both surprised and disappointed after finding out that his most famous disciple had tested positive for a banned drug.

The 77-year-old, who has a midas touch in polishing young talents at his training centre in Berapit, Bukit Mertajam, was initially reluctant to give his views after Chong Wei’s B sample was declared positive yesterday for the banned substance dexamethasone.
