Jackie leaves it late to strike gold in hammer throw


HANOI: Malaysia’s hammer thrower Jackie Wong has won the nation’s second gold in the athletics event at the Vietnam SEA Games at MyDinh Stadium here on Saturday (May 14).

The 30-year-old Sarawakian left it late as he threw 66.49m in his last attempt to win his second-ever gold medal in the games.
