Umar clinches 800m silver in New Taipei City


PETALING JAYA: National middle distance runner Umar Osman (pic) continued his impressive run at the New Taipei City Athletics Open by winning silver in the men’s 800m event on Sunday.

The 22-year-old clocked a time of 1:49.40s, coming in just behind Australia’s Alex Twartz, who set a time of 1:47.94s while home runner Jyun Siang-huang took bronze with 1:49.54s at the Taiwan National Stadium.
