Proposal on setting up an elderly healthcare protection scheme

I READ with great interest the Selangor state government’s recent announcement of the Kita Selangor voucher initiative, which will provide RM100 in monthly cash assistance for six months to 50,000 low-income families.

What is particularly striking is that this assistance is intended primarily to help families meet one of life’s most basic necessities – putting food on the table.
