Govt urged to set up health insurance savings scheme for ageing citizens


KUALA LUMPUR: Experts are urging the government to introduce a health insurance savings plan for its ageing society.

The 10th Malaysian Hybrid Conference on Healthy Ageing (10th MCHA) chairman Datuk Dr N. Ganabaskaran said that national health insurance was proposed and discussed 25 years ago but was not implemented.
