Making behavioural science work for health


MALAYSIA’S participation at the 79th World Health Assembly in Geneva in May was more than an international appearance. It was a signal that the country is ready to turn global health commitments into practical national action.

At the assembly’s side event on behavioural sciences, Malaysia shared its National Blueprint for Behavioural Insights in Health alongside the launch of the World Health Organisation’s Global Framework for Mainstreaming Behavioural Sciences. For Malaysia, it was recognition that the country has begun building a serious pathway for behavioural science in health.
