Government should focus on reducing wasteful spending 


CURRENTLY, every Malaysian with a valid driving licence pays RM1.99 per litre for RON95, capped at 200 litres a month under the Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) fuel subsidy scheme.

On Monday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the government would be finalising the rationalisation of fuel subsidies targeting higher-income earners soon.
