HIS Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, set a definitive and sobering tone within the halls of Parliament during his royal address at the opening of the Fifth Session of the 15th Parliament on Jan 19.
Touching on corruption, His Majesty said: “Corruption must be fought decisively. People should be the eyes and ears of the nation and report all forms of corruption. It is not only the recipients of bribes who should be investigated, but bribers and the agents abetting them must also be held accountable.”
