Road safety a matter of disciplined behaviour


AS a Singaporean who frequently reads Malaysian news, I am deeply concerned by the alarming number of road crashes reported daily.

One of the most common and dangerous habits I observe is motorcyclists overtaking vehicles from the left, often at high speeds. I have personally experienced near-collisions when turning left, only to be surprised by a speeding motorcyclist attempting to squeeze past on my blind side.
