THE once majestic Ipoh railway station is in desperate need of a thorough makeover.
Passengers and tourists arriving at Perak’s capital by train are greeted by a gloomy sight of broken ceiling panels, dirty floors, filthy toilets and bird droppings. Some parking lots have been turned into illegal dumpsites.
