Pensioner hurt at being denied emergency treatment

I AM a retired civil servant. Recently, I developed a lingering discomfort in my chest after a light morning workout. Suspecting that I was having heart problems, I sought medical attention at Tengku Bainun Hospital in Ipoh.

Tests were done and I was admitted for further investigation and observation. On the third day of my stay in the hospital, I was informed by the medical officers that I had suffered a mild heart attack and was referred to a specialist for further action.
