IN 2010, three years after my retirement from the Royal Malaysia Police Force at the age of 60 years, I started to cycle as a form of exercise. I took up cycling upon the encouragement of my classmate and sifu, now the late Ahmad Ramli Zakaria.
I started by cycling on weekends, and I would rendezvous with a group of friends at the Elmina South Rest and Recreation area along the Guthrie Highway. It was a leisurely ride for oldies like us but we enjoyed the workout that cycling gave us.
