AS human beings, we cannot help being selfish at certain times in our lives. Sometimes it happens without us realising it. We do not have sympathy for others because we consider their problem as not ours, and we think we can do whatever we want if it does not affect us or anyone close to us.
Putting ourselves in someone else’s shoes does not seem to be the norm these days. For instance, just the other day I was looking for a parking spot during a busy time in a shopping mall. I saw a couple walking towards their car and it looked like they were leaving. So I trailed them like anyone who is desperate for a parking spot would do.
