Water vending machines must be licensed


STUDIES conducted on samples of water from vending machines have raised concerns about the quality and safety of the water.

In 2014, Forum Air Malaysia (FAM) tested samples of water taken from vending machines and found some to be contaminated with bacteria such as E. coli and Clostridium perfringens.
