It began with a letter

In 2007, at Saloma Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, a man handed me a letter. That man was Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, or Tok Pa — then Minister of Higher Education, and Chairman of Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman. That letter made me a Tunku Scholar.
